Jumac Receives Phenomenal Response at ITMA 2023

The future of spinning unfolded at the recently concluded ITMA 2023, the biggest textile & garment technology event in the world, and we were right at the centre of it all. Our stall registered impressive footfall figures on all days (8-14 June), with existing/potential customers, partners and OEM representatives, other leading spinning can manufacturers, connecting with us, viewing our extended line of products and our latest innovation, and discussing possibilities to make spinning smarter. Here’s an overview of our hugely successful participation at ITMA 2023 Milan:

Welcoming Visitors from Across the Globe

Welcoming visitors from across the globe

1900+ leading spinning mills across 28+ countries rely on us for managing their material handling requirements (we also collaborate with 40+ international partners). Our position as a global leader in spinning can manufacturing was consolidated further at this year’s ITMA – with visitors from several European and South American nations dropping in at our stall. We also welcomed a large contingent of delegates from Turkey, India and other countries. The networking opportunities were truly excellent – and it was indeed a global affair!

Meeting the Top Decision-Makers from the Industry

Meeting top industry leaders

For more than 50 years, Jumac has been delivering trust, value and efficiency to the biggest names from the spinning fraternity. The response at the ITMA event reflected this. Some of our most prestigious clients, including LS Mills, Vardhman Mills, Sanko, Nitin Spinners and Cooper Fibra, graced our stall with their presence. Together, we deliberated on opportunities to transform mill operations with integration of Industry 4.0 standards. We thank them for their continued support and words of appreciation.

All Eyes on Our Latest Innovation: Ji+ Spinning Cans

JI+ Spinning cans

We had made a soft launch of our range of Ji+ spinning cans, powered by the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) at India ITME 2022. Following the encouraging response and feedback, we went ahead with the full-blown commercial launch of Ji+ at ITMA Milan, and the interest & feedback we received was truly unprecedented. The launch was a rip-roaring success.

At the event, many top mill-owners expressed their interest to host Ji+ trials at their mills (there were requests to buy trials as well). More importantly, we received enquiries about Ji+ from overseas buyers as well. We were always confident about our latest innovation – and the response vindicated our belief.

Interaction with the Top Spinning OEMs

Spinning cans manufactured by Jumac are compatible with the spinning machinery from all leading OEMs. We take a lot of pride in our material handling solutions being approved for Truetzschler and Rieter projects. At last year’s ITME event at Noida, our cans were displayed in the Truetzschler and LMW stalls.

Interactions with Top spinning OEMs

At ITMA 2023 too, our range of products in general – and the Ji+ cans in particular – generated plenty of excitement amongst participating OEMs. We are delighted with the interest expressed by several manufacturers (like SpinConnect, MyMill, and others) to implement these ‘smart cans’ in their setup. With data-backed automation, last-mile traceability, and complete transparency, the Ji+ sliver management system can help mills become future-ready.

Note: Over 300 visitors came to our stall over the course of the event. This included representatives from all leading OEMs.

Product Interactions; Business Networking; Unlocking the Future

Our entire lineup of state-of-the-art sliver handling solutions were in full display at this year’s ITMA exhibition. Right from spinning cans (available in different sizes and diameters) and box-type / pantograph springs, to caster wheels and trolleys – we showcased our entire portfolio to a global audience. The feedback from everyone was unanimously positive.

Of particular note this year were our newly-launched Supremo Casters. With built-in ‘Ever-Clean’ technology, these casters offer true fluff-free assurance, and make sliver mobility on mill floors more efficient than ever. The response and feedback on our entire product line was really encouraging.

The Way Forward

The story of Jumac has always been about continuous improvement and progress. The success at ITMA 2023 has inspired us to continue building a strong sliver handling ecosystem and paving the way for intelligent spinning.

In addition to ongoing product improvements, we already have plans in the pipeline to conduct a series of trials for the Ji+ cans at reputed spinning mills (both in India and abroad). Going forward, our team is also looking to open financial / technical discussions with top OEMs, and discussing possibilities to integrate Ji+ in their systems. The new technology will revolutionise can management and eliminate several common mill problems.

We take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude for the amazing response from visitors from all over the world. Thanks for all the kind words of appreciation for our range of material handling solutions, as well as for showing so much interest in our all-new Ji+ spinning cans. As a globally recognized spinning can manufacturer company, connecting with stakeholders at global events, collecting opinions, feedback and ideas from them, and their response to our latest products / technologies is of immense importance to us. Jumac made a real splash at ITMA 2023 Milan, and we are looking forward to spinning more success stories together.
