JI+ : Jumac Leads the Show at ITME India 2022 With Innovation
Successful participation at the top spinning industry events over the years has been a key factor behind the growth of the Jumac brand. For us, these events have served as excellent platforms to showcase our range of premium-grade sliver handling solutions, display the latest innovations, and connect with partners, stakeholders and prospective/existing clients. Thanks to the seamless interactions and information-sharing at these events – both in India and overseas – Jumac has been able to constantly consolidate its position as a sliver can manufacturer of global repute.
While our company has always received encouraging responses at the industry events and exhibitions, we made a real splash at last month’s India ITME 2022 (8-13 December). Innovation took centrestage during the exhibition – with our first foray into the domain of IIoT-enabled sliver management being announced. The newest additions in our product portfolio were exhibited too. Here’s a quick recap of how Jumac led the show at ITME 2022:
Ji+, A Breakthrough IIoT-enabled Sliver Management Technology, Was Launched
Over the years, Jumac has stayed steadfast in its focus of ensuring yarn quality optimisation from the very outset. We have constantly embraced the latest innovation standards – in order to ensure that sliver handling at mills becomes progressively easier and more efficient. At ITME 2022 Noida, we launched the state-of-the-art Ji+ (Jumac Intelligence Plus) technology. This is an integrated IIoT-enabled sliver management system that enables last-mile traceability & tracking, and optimises can utilisation. The response to our innovation during the event was immense.
Smart Automation To Resolve Commonly Encountered Mill Problems
Inefficient and/or erroneous handling of delicate sliver (however insignificant it might seem initially) often leads to irreversible damages in yarn quality. As a leading sliver can manufacturer, we consider it our responsibility to help mill-owners eradicate such problems from the operational system. With Ji+ ushering in automated spinning can management, tracking the sliver status in the cans on a real-time basis becomes possible. These sliver cans have identification bands with 10-12 LED light colour options. These ID bands serve as indication tools that provide valuable actionable insights. A Sneak Peek Into Jumac Intelligence Plus
The Jumac Intelligence Plus system, powered by machine learning and IIoT, showcases what the future of spinning would look like. The foolproof traceability of the cans across machinery during the preparatory stage – together with real-time tracking of yarn movements – ensure that sliver processing is never compromised (due to manual oversights) in any way. Apart from making can replacements faster, our new technology also provides a safeguard against accidental yarn mix-ups. Mill ROI levels should also receive a thrust with the Utilisation of Machines (UOM) metric going up. Launch Of Supremo Caster Wheels
Living up to our billing as a one-stop sliver can manufacturer company, Jumac has the complete range of material handling solutions in its portfolio. Precision-engineered caster wheels are an important line of products, since they facilitate smoother, better sliver transportation (i.e., can movements). At ITME 2022, we offered a preview into the next level in this – the Supremo Caster Wheels with ‘Ever Clean’ feature. These casters promise true fluff-free and dust-free assurance. In a ‘smart mill ecosystem’, our newest innovations have a potentially vital role to play.
Complete Range Of Sliver Handling Solutions Showcased
In addition to the new launches, we also exhibited our existing line of textile spinning solutions. These included our range of HDPE spinning cans (available in different diameters) – with high-quality accessories like springs for uniform sliver handling (box-type springs and pantograph springs), and caster wheels with fluff-free properties. Our range of specialized cans, including the XL 1200 cans that have 25% higher sliver capacity, were displayed too. The trolleys (perforated and non-perforated), that have been designed for bobbin storage and movement, were also exhibited. There were designated sections in our stall for displaying the different product categories.
